Adding documents and verifications

This guide provides a detailed walk-through on how to add documents and verifications in Mesh ID, covering every step from uploading documents to sharing your information request securely. By following these instructions, you will effectively request documents and verifications from your clients.

1. Navigate to “Actions” and click “Add documents”

Adding documents and verifications to main and related profiles is a straightforward process. Let’s add documents we would like to request to the main profile first. Go to the “Actions” button next to the main profile name and click on “Add documents”.

2. Select the documents you would like to request

Identify the documents you would like to request. For example, let’s request Articles of association and add a contract verification. Contract verification is based on the documents Mesh ID has digitised for you. You will be able to specify the exact document during the configuration step.

3. Pre-fill information

For each document you request, you can pre-fill some information for your client. For example, for Articles of association you can specify the date singed, add additional notes, and indicate the “not older than” date . If you have the document already, you can also upload the document on behalf of your client. Additionally, you can indicate if the document requires your final acceptance on receipt.

Finally, you are required to indicate what you will use the document for.

4. Add a contract signing step (if relevant)

Now let’s choose which document you would like your client to review and fill out/sign. Simply choose the right documents from the list of documents.

5. Confirm

Now you can proceed by generating share link or skipping and saving your changes for later.

Now let’s also request some documents and verifications from a related party.

7. Navigate to “Actions” and click “Add documents or verifications”

8. Select the documents and verifications you would like to request

Let’s request identity verification, address verification and a bank statement.

9. Pre-fill information

For each document you request, you can pre-fill some information for your client. For example, for Bank statement you can specify the bank name, date extracted, add additional notes, and indicate the “not older than” date . If you have the document already, you can also upload the document on behalf of your client. Additionally, you can indicate if the document requires your final acceptance on receipt. Finally, you are required to indicate what you will use the document for.

10. Configure identity verification

Now you can configure your identity verification according to your preferences. You can adjust the following items: issuing country, type of document, language, capture method, verify document only, “not older than”. Additionally, you can force the client to perform this step and not allow them to use existing information.

11. Configure address verification

Now let’s configure address verification according to your preferences. You can adjust the following items: address to be verified, iDIN verification, enhanced verification, supporting evidence. You can also indicate the “not older than” date. Additionally, you can force the client to perform this step and not allow them to use existing information.

12. Generate share link

Once ready with the configuration, you can proceed to link generation. Click “Generate share link”.

13. Share request

Now you can send the link to your client. There are two ways how you can do this. You can copy the link and send it to your client directly via your preferred communication method. Alternatively, you can type in the email address of your client and click “Send”. Mesh ID will then send an email with the verification link to your client on your behalf.
