In this guide you will explore how to efficiently manage projects and persons in Mesh ID. You will learn how to create projects, and add and manage persons with only a few simple clicks. Please note this guide is most relevant for the Verify module of Mesh ID.

1. Create a project

Once you log in for the first time, you will be presented with your project dashboard. It might be empty, or it might have a few projects if your colleagues have earlier added you to one of their projects.

A project is a way of grouping people you would like to verify, and you may use it as you see fit. To create a project, click “Create a new project”.

3. Give your project a name

Give your project a name, and click “Create new project” to confirm.

4. The project is created now

You will then see the project appear on your project dashboard. Once you have more projects on your project dashboard, you will also be able to sort them by “Created on” and “Last updated”. Please note that the projects you create are not shared with your colleagues by default. If you would like to collaborate with your colleagues, you need to invite them to your project(s).

6. Create a new person

From here we can create a person we would like to verify. Click “Create a new person” at the top of your screen.

7. Fill our “First name” and “Last name”

Enter the first and the last names of the person you would like to verify in the specified fields. These fields are mandatory to fill out, however, it is important to point out that the individual will not see the name you give them at this point, this step is only seen to you or other project members of the project you are working in.

Additionally, the name will be updated once the individual completes the identity verification process (provided it is requested) as it will be extracted from their identity document. Moreover, if you click “Add more details” you can add more information if needed.

9. Add any additional information necessary

For example, you can add an email address, date of birth, external reference and/or tags. These fields are not mandatory to fill out, therefore, please use them as you see fit. Once ready to proceed, click “Save”.

10. Click on “Start” or “Close”

On the next screen you can click on the “Start” button if you would like to proceed, or on the “Close” button if you prefer to finish the process later.

If you click “Start”, you will proceed with requesting a verification. 12. Apply filters

Once you have multiple persons within a project, you might want to start using our filtering and sorting functionality to easily and quickly find the persons you need to action. You can filter by status, and sort by any tags you add to the profiles.

You can also combine the tags and filters to further narrow search results.

14. Generating reports

You can also generate status and usage reports for a particular period of time you indicate. Please note that this option might not be available for you by default as it might be available for only specific users if this was requested by your organisation.
